  Magical place with an on-site Parador. Pretty good restaurant, too. Make sure to experience sunset here - affordable wine/cava by the glass or bottle is offered at the cafeteria/bar. Highly recommended. Gift shops offers some unique locally made presents. Service at the restaurant is rather slow -- as it is the local culture.

  Photos are to scale. If you ask yourself the question, how could this little fortress defend the whole area from attackers? Visiting the castle may not actually answer that question but does show you they had some cool cannons and wells. The history is actually very interesting if you have time to read up on it.

  The drive up was beautiful as were the views. The rooms are modernized and comfortable. The food was very good. What stood out to me was that the WiFi worked very well inside the castle, but did not work as well when you stepped out. We were told that there would be no more food at all when we went to the restaurant at 5. They started serving food again around 8. The waiting staff sent us back and forth and seemed not to have the same information. The staff at the bar was amazinglyh friendly and helpful. The staff at the restaurant... not so much. Beyond that it was an amazing and beautiful place. The sunset over the small town was extraordinary. I wouild recommend it and return. Read up on times for everything. Asking questions didn't get me fat.
